Extol of Ohio Breaks Ground on Norwalk Expansion

Extol of Ohio, Inc. has broken ground on a $6 million expansion of our Norwalk manufacturing facility — the fourth expansion since the company first built here.

The project adds approximately 67,500 square feet of fabrication space, along with state-of-the-art equipment, and is expected to create 35 new jobs while retaining our existing workforce.

“Extol of Ohio is grateful to our employees for their relentless care of our expanding customer base, affording us this opportunity to invest in our future by expanding our Norwalk factory for the fourth time,” said Robin DeGraff, Owner of Extol of Ohio, Inc. “The new space and state-of-the-art equipment ensure our ability to compete nationally and globally for years to come.”

The expansion was supported by the Huron County Growth Partnership, Civista Bank, the City of Norwalk, and Team NEO. The Erie County Port Authority, administered by the Greater Sandusky Partnership, supported the project through a capital lease providing an estimated $167,000 in project savings.

For Extol’s customers, the investment means what it has always meant here: more capacity, faster turnaround, and the same standard of quality and delivery performance our customers have counted on since 1985.
