DACAR Chemical – Daxcel 161-D Adhesive/Sealant

DAXCEL FOAMASTIK 161-D  is a versatile cold bonding adhesive/sealant/vapor barrier that creates a durable, resilient bond between nearly any sound substrate and rigid foamed insulation such as expanded or extruded polystyrene, polyurethane, isocyanurate, cellular glass and phenolic.

Heavy-bodied, DAXCEL FOAMASTIK 161-D, remains internally resilient and provides excellent long-term bridging effects allowing the bonding of rigid insulation to irregular surfaces. These traits also make DAXCEL FOAMASTIK 161-D a very effective joint sealant for use between insulation panels and between insulation and surfaces such as walls, floors and ceilings. DAXCEL FOAMASTIK 161-D can be used as an effective vapor barrier with a WVT rate of 0.01 Perms (1/8” thick).

DuPont™ - Styrofoam™ XPS Pipe Insulation Billets

DuPont™ Styrofoam™ XPS PIB is a closed-cell thermal plastic, void free, seamless foam insulation billet designed for mechanical fabrication design and manufacturing. It is hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) free with zero ozone-depleting potential.

HiTHERM® is an industry leader and has been maintaining and setting the standards for Polyiso insulation performance since it’s opening in 2000.  HiTHERM® is a California based company dedicated to the manufacturing of polyurethane (PUR), polyisocyanurate (PIR) and polyurea products, the two primary products being PIR300 25/50® brand polyisocyanurate, a 25/50 product (ASTM E84).

For over 40 years, Howred Corporation, independently owned and operated is the manufacturer of GOODTEMP™ expanded perlite, has provided a superior quality, high-temperature, thermal industrial insulation that reduces your energy and maintenance cost.  GOODTEMP™ is recommended for insulating pipes, vessels, and equipment in both continuous and cyclical operations. GOODTEMP™ will provide the highest level of protection against CUI and will protect against austenitic stainless-steel failure due to chloride stress corrosion cracking. It inhibits corrosion of other ferrous metals.

This high temperature thermal insulation, GOODTEMP™ is made of expanded perlite and sodium silicate reinforced with fibers to increase impact resistance. Kingspan Insulation of North America – ISO-C1® Polyisocyanurate Rigid Foam Insulation

Kingspan Insulation's ISO-C1® polyisocyanurate rigid foam insulation line of products includes ISO-C1®/2.0 (2 lb/ft3 density), independently audited by Factory Mutual. We manufacture ISO-C1® polyisocyanurate as large buns, and subsequently fabricate into insulation panels, pipe insulation, or equipment insulation.

Our ISO-C1® polyiso insulation has superior physical characteristics, excellent water and moisture resistance, high R-factor, and zero ozone depletion potential (zero-ODP) - making it a cost-effective and environmentally friendly choice. Suitable for service temperatures between -297°F and +300°F, ISO-C1® polyisocyanurate insulation is well suited to a wide range of applications from chilled water pipe insulation to refrigeration insulation to cryogenic insulation. ISO-C1® is available in 2.5, 3.0, 4.0 and 6.0 densities.

JM Johns Manville – Sproule WR-1200® Perlite Pipe and Block Insulation

Sproule WR-1200® is a pre-formed, high-temperature, non-wicking pipe and block insulation. It is composed of expanded perlite that is uniformly reinforced with a high-strength fiber for use on systems operating up to 1200°F (649°C).

Sproule WR-1200 is inorganic, non-combustible and meets or exceeds the physical property requirements of ASTM C610. It is produced with XOX Corrosion Inhibitor®, a distinctive formula that inhibits corrosion to outside surfaces of pipe and equipment, especially stress corrosion cracking of austenitic stainless steel. 

JM Johns Manville – Trymer® PIR – Polyisocyanurate Pipe Insulation and Saranax® Vapor Retarder Film

TRYMER® PIR (polyisocyanurate) is a closed-cell, foam insulation for industrial pipes, vessels, and equipment. TRYMER® PIR can be used in applications that operate at temperatures ranging from -297°F to 300°F (-183°C to 148°C). Additionally, TRYMER® PIR is offered in a variety of different densities and compressive strengths to ensure the product consistency is suited for the unique needs of a variety of applications.  TRYMER® PIR features one of the lowest ambient k-factors among all pipe insulations: 0.19 BTU · in/hr · ft2 · °F at 75°F mean temperature (0.027 W/m · °C at 24°C).

All grades of SARANEX® CX Vapor Retarder Film and Tape have an ASTM E84 flame spread/smoke developed rating of 25/50 or lower and are appropriate for exposed use in all areas of a commercial building, including within air plenums.

Owens Corning® – FOAMULAR® XPS Pipe Insulation Fabrication Billets

Used as low-temperature pipe and equipment insulation, FOAMULAR® XPS Pipe Insulation is ideal for various cold service applications - including ammonia/refrigeration, and food and beverage service processing.  The FOAMULAR® Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) Fabrication Billets are manufactured from rigid sheets of foam made using Owens Corning’s Hydrovac® process technology. The unique closed-cell structure of FOAMULAR® XPS insulation makes it highly resistant to moisture, and thus low in water absorption but high in insulating capability.

FOAMULAR® XPS Fabrication Billets have a product temperature application range of -320°F to +165°F on pipe, vessels and equipment.  The billets are factory laminated using a specially formulated polyurethane-based adhesive under strict process controls to ensure performance.

PolyPhen® - Rigid Thermal Insulation Foam with High Fire Resistance

A rigid thermal insulation foam, Polyphen®, combines the best properties of expanded polystyrene (EPS) and phenolic foam to produce a fire resistant insulated foam suitable for a wide range of applications.

RESOLCO, Inc. – Insul-Phen® Phenolic Insulation

RESOLCO Insul-Phen® is one of the most scientifically advanced high performance rigid phenolic insulation applications available and is manufactured in the USA from our state-of-the-art facility in Houston, Texas.  One of the safest insulation materials for use inside buildings. Insul-Phen® meets the fire standard requirements achieving ASTM E84 25/50 flame and smoke rating.

Insul-Phen®, and its production process, is 100% free of CFCs and HCFCs. Complying with all international standards, it has a Zero Ozone Depletion Rating. The high closed-cell content of Insul-Phen® gives it very high resistance to moisture penetration.  Insul-Phen® has one of the best k factor ratings (.18 BTU .in/hr.ft2) of any commonly specified insulation material and its high thermal efficiency means that the actual insulation thickness is significantly lower than other materials. The minimum 92% closed-cell content saves energy and reduces CO2 emissions and RESOLCO Insul-Phen® meets ASTM E84 25/50 flame/smoke rated up to 3 inches thick and is listed in Canada to Can/ULC-S102 regulation, up to 3 inches thick, File R22387.

RHH Foam Systems – Versi-Foam® Spray Polyurethane Foam Insulation

Versi-Foam® is proud to deliver industry-leading commercial spray and residential insulation spray foam kit systems that are low-pressure and easy-to-use. They are an easy, dependable solution to instant, money-saving residential and commercial insulation projects. We offer leading low-pressure polyurethane spray foam insulation systems that are portable and disposable - Versi-Foam® two-component polyurethane spray foam insulation kits, and Versi-Tite® Window & Door single component polyurethane foam sealants.

Closed-cell, open-cell, slow-rise and high-density, both one and two component systems have an insulation value up to 7.7 R-value at one-inch thickness.  The Class I (flame-retardant) Formula provides a R-value of 6.7 at one-inch thick in accordance with ASTM E-84. All Versi-Foam® products are naturally mold resistant, but the added anti-microbial element provides a safeguard against the growth of the five most common types of fungi found in homes.

ROCKWOOL North America – FABROCK™ HD Stone Wool Insulation

In its manufactured state, stone wool delivers unique benefits as an insulation solution.  FABROCK™ HD is a high-mono-density board ideal for fabrication because of its uniform integrity. With excellent fire, acoustic and thermal properties, FABROCK™ HD is ideal for use in Fire Doors and other OEM applications where rigid board insulation is required.

As with all ROCKWOOL products, FABROCK™ HD has excellent fire properties, is dimensionally stable, vapor permeable and will not encourage the growth of mold.  Properties include: Non-combustible stone wool insulation with melting point of approx. 1177°C (2150°F), does not promote smoke or flame spread when exposed to flame, denser composition provides excellent sound control, outstanding thermal resistance, dimensionally stable, water and moisture resistant and does not promote the growth of fungi or mildew.
